DLA Awards Energy Convergence Systems Integration Services Contract to Coggins International

Atlanta, GA - August 6, 2010 The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded Coggins International a four-year contract to provide Energy Convergence (EC) Systems Integration services for their Enterprise Business System (EBS) through its Teaming Partnership with Accenture. The Energy Convergence Program is designed to incorporate DLA's energy supply chain business into its SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) architecture, which Accenture introduced in 2000. DLA Energy will implement a solution that will integrate several SAP products, such as SAP Oil & Gas, SAP Public Sector and SAP SRM (eProcurement capabilities), enabling best-in-class operations.

As a DLA and Accenture Teaming Partner, Coggins International will provide IT services, special matter experts and SAP development resources to plan, design, build, test, and implement Energy Convergence into the EBS. This involvement includes the development and testing of the integration and interfacing of SAP Oil & Gas with Varec's FuelsManager Defense v8.0, to be deployed worldwide at over 600 military bases.
