Coggins International Announces Five Courses Recommended for College Credit by American Council on Education

Atlanta, GA - November 19, 2013 – Coggins International a leading Automation, IT Services and Training company, today announced that the American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) has evaluated and recommended college credit for five courses. ACE, the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.

Coggins International's mission is to provide IT and fuels management students with premier, competitively-priced training services on a worldwide basis, which are consistently perceived as best-in-class, highly informative and provided by expert, attentive and efficient instructors. It's easy to follow the status quo, to continue doing business as usual. But, it's even better to take something to a whole new level. That's the approach Coggins International takes with every endeavor. This philosophy rings true more than ever with our mission-critical IT training, which is why we made the significant time and financial investment to earn ACE's credit recommendations, said Jula Jane, President and Chief Executive Officer. This is a great way to give back to our students, as it allows them to further their education and progress towards a degree.

The origin of Coggins International's training capabilities dates back to 1996 when the original Base Level Defense Fuels Management program was established. As the instructor for the first class, I am deeply honored by this major development as it has been DLA Energy's and the military service's long-term goal for these courses to earn college credit, said Wayne Hooper, Director of Training.

ACE CREDIT helps adults gain academic credit for courses and examinations taken outside traditional degree programs. More than 2,000 colleges and universities consider ACE CREDIT recommendations in determining the applicability of coursework and examination results to their courses and degree programs.
